Orange Rolls
1 stick butter- softened
5 grams (1 teaspoon) pysllium husk powder
52 grams (¼ cup) organic cane sugar
10 grams yeast
6 grams baking powder
5 grams salt
450 grams (3 cups) Bobs 1:1 gluten free flour mix.
1 egg- room temperature
1 cup milk
1 12 oz jar of Seville Orange Marmalade
Beat together butter, sugar and pysillium husk.
Add yeast, baking powder, salt, flour mix. Beat until crumbly.
Add egg and milk. Beat till fluffy.
On a long piece of plastic, lay the dough on one edge.
Roll out till ¼ inch thick.
For Orange: spread Seville orange marmalade thinly leaving one inch clean.
Cut each piece into 1 ½ pieces.
Place pieces in well greased pan. Cover and let rise for one hour.
Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes
Remove from pans and allow to cool completely.
Frosting
4 tablespoons butter
8 ounces cream cheese
¼ cup confectioners sugar
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Beat together till smooth.
